MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN MENGENAI OBAT OBATAN YANG DI KONSUMSI DI WILAYAH MAMPANG PRAPATAN DENGAN “SIROSI” (SISTEM ROBOT FARMASI)

Pharmacists rank third in the world in terms of the number of professionals working in pharmacies, following doctors and nurses. Therefore, pharmacists play a significant role in the development of e-pharmacy. One aspect of pharmacist's role in adopting e-pharmacy is in the provision of drug information and counseling services. Due to various factors, many patients who have received medication still lack knowledge about how to use, store, and take the medication properly. As a result, patients require explanatory services to understand how to use the medication at home. Based on a survey conducted by the author in October 2021 at the Mampang Prapatan Sub-District Health Center, with 358 respondents, it was found that 98% of the community in the Mampang Prapatan sub-district store and consume medication at home. Among them, 37% were unaware of the names of the stored or consumed medications, 31% did not know the benefits or uses of the medication, 19% were unaware of the dosage instructions, 17% did not know how to use the medication, 30% were unaware of proper medication storage, and 88% were unaware of the side effects of the stored or consumed medications. Based on the above data, pharmacists, as scholars, analyze the problems related to the suboptimal knowledge of the public regarding drug information using a Fishbone diagram, as follows: 1.Limited duration of medication information delivery. 2. Patients not remembering explanations about medications from healthcare personnel. 3. Inaudible voice volume during medication handover and explanations. From the solutions above, the author has developed the Pharmacy Service with the SIROSI (Pharmacy Robot System) innovation. This service involves a WhatsApp chatbot that is accessible 24 hours a day, allowing patients to learn about the medications they have received and stored at home. This way, patients can understand the purpose, dosage instructions, usage guidelines, and potential side effects of the medications. SIROSI also provides counseling services with pharmacy personnel through video calls or phone calls. This service aims to optimize the role of pharmacists in the community. The root causes of problems in improving pharmaceutical services can be effectively addressed. The solution, the "Pharmacy Robot System (SIROSI)" program, has proven to be effective in improving pharmaceutical services, as evidenced by periodic evaluations. Pharmacists play a highly optimal role in the "Pharmacy Robot System (SIROSI)" program as experts, communicators, collaborators, managers, health advocates, scholars, and professionals.
