PENINGKATAN KEPATUHAN KONTROL ODHIV DENGAN LAYANAN KESEHATAN DIGITAL “COREMIND” DI PUSKESMAS KECAMATAN MAMPANG PRAPATAN

Adherence to taking ARV medication is the most important factor in reducing the number of HIV viruses in HIV patients. In fact, many HIV patients do not show optimal results in ARV therapy, due to the lack of patient adherence in taking ARV.
In Mampang Prapatan District in December 2021, there were 113 people detected by HIV and all of them had been initiated by ARV treatment. However, there were only 102 HIV patients that do timely control compliance at the Mampang Prapatan District Health Center where 16 of them are not on time for control (15.6%) or in other words only 84.4% of HIV patients control on time from the target of 100%. The large number of non-adherence ODHIV affects the quality of life of the HIV patients.
Through Fishbone analysis, there were several root causes found, including patients often forget the control schedule, limitations of heath workers in reminding patients, and the manual system of patient control reminder by control cards. From these roots of the problem, an innovation of digital patient control schedule reminders "COREMIND" (COntrol REMINDer), the Excel WhatsApp-Macro tool that is integrated to Microsoft Edge. This tool aims to optimize the role in providing nursing care to ODHIV patients through an automatic control scheduling feature so that electronic messages can be sent day-1 from the control schedule. Nurses can also monitor patients who are not in regular control through the recapitulation display in Microsoft Excel and making it easier to handle further.
As a result of this innovation, in a month 9 patients stated they are helped because it is easier to remember the control schedule and discuss with health workers if they have obstacles to come at the time of control. It is hoped that this “COREMIND” can ease the workload of medical personnel and be a solution for the patients to do regular timely control so that ODHIV patients can live healthy lives.
